Experiment 4 is a collection of our artworks by using TouchDesigner. We explored and created static and dynamic visuals such as the Noise Grids and the Fuzzy Grids. This was our group’s introduction to TouchDesigner and these are our documentations.

Above are the visual outcomes of our Noise Grids. We used Noise and other nodes to create and manipulate visual outcomes. We enjoyed seeing how different nodes such as ramps, levels, and composites can manipulate the form and movement of the visuals.

The following visuals are our outcomes for the Fuzzy Grids. This process was a lot more intricate, but we explored and experimented with the elements to see how we can manipulate the visuals even more.

TouchDesigner is an enjoyable software to use, but it can be quite confusing as there are many things to be careful about such as the operators and what nodes should / should not connect. However we enjoyed seeing how our visuals looked by the end of it and are eager to see how we can utilise TouchDesigner to visualise data.
